What BHFlasher Has Been Up To: New Parts, New Finds, and a Busy Start to the Year
It’s been a busy stretch here at BHFlasher, and if you’ve been checking the site lately, you’ve probably noticed something new: parts—lots of them—finally hitting the shelves. After months of digging through inventory, testing components, restoring originals, and photographing everything in detail, I’ve started rolling out a steady stream of authentic Federal Signal and vintage emergency‑lighting parts.
Collectors have been asking for more regular updates, and my webmaster has been nudging me to post more blogs (fair enough!), so here’s a quick look at what’s been happening behind the scenes.
A Wave of New OEM Parts Going Live
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been listing some truly hard‑to‑find pieces, including:

  • AeroDynic motorized replacement assemblies
  • BeaconRay motors in multiple voltages
  • CJ‑series conversion‑ready units
  • Rare 6‑volt and 12‑volt originals
  • Film‑industry‑grade components pulled from long‑stored inventory
Every part is inspected, tested, photographed, and documented so buyers know exactly what they’re getting—no surprises, just clean, authentic gear.
    Why the Sudden Surge?
    Simple: it was time.
For years, BHFlasher has been known for collector‑grade domes, trays, and restoration pieces, but I’ve been sitting on a deep inventory of motors, transmissions, and OEM internals that deserved to see daylight. With more restorers and film prop departments reaching out, it made sense to start releasing these items now.
    More Consistent Updates Ahead
This blog is the first of many. Expect::
  • New product announcements
  • Behind‑the‑scenes restoration notes
  • Spotlights on rare finds
  • Tips for identifying authentic Federal Signal components
  • Occasional stories from the field and collector community
If you’re restoring a BeaconRay, rebuilding an AeroDynic, or hunting for that one impossible part, keep an eye on the site—there’s more coming.
