This Federal Signal Siren, Serial Number 2E14918, has NEVER SEEN a “Repair Doctor”!! It came to us in PERFECT WORKING CONDITION, (All functions BHF Tested and verified to be working). The cosmetics are “nearly perfect-as-you-can-get” and this has been restored for the PA20 owner who wants it ALL!! Its enhanced look includes a BHF-CUSTOM CHROME-PLATED CASE! This model is the only series with the “MARS PEARL” red indicator light atop the siren. Other models all had a facet-cut red indicator light, so that makes this 2E model “unique”. For the “final touch”, we added NEW Selector and Gain knobs! This siren was bench-tested for 30 minutes with all functions tested and verified to work as expected when it was new, per the manufacturer, Federal Signal. Siren is compatible with CP25 or a similar loudspeaker and has an output of approximately 52 Watts RMS. Also, this model came with a faceplate trim that looks new! This siren probably was in a “backup” unit that had very little to no use and the emergency vehicle that it was in was likely a garaged environment free of sunshine to be this “clean”! This siren was the popular choice for most all Police and Fire Departments from as early as 1969 until the arrival of Federal’s PA300 Series. This siren has WAIL-YELP-HI-LO Tones.
