The mounting plate is factory‑drilled with three speaker‑mount positioning holes, giving you the option to run one speaker centered or two speakers side‑by‑side — matching authentic Model 12 configurations using genuine Federal Speakers.
The top side has been professionally refinished in black for a clean, sharp presentation. The underside is intentionally left unpainted because the chain drive rides on that surface, and you never want paint interfering with chain contact or movement.

This Federal Signal Siren has been professionally repaired and/or refurbished.  It has been bench-tested for 30 minutes with all functions tested and verified to work as expected per the manufacturer, Federal Signal.  The siren is compatible with  CP25 or a similar loudspeaker.   This siren is missing the 8-pin Connector Plug which is needed to connect power and speaker lines a siren works as expected — Buyer needs to provide the 8-Pin Connector Cable to operate this siren!

This siren was the popular choice for almost all Police and Fire Departments from as early as 1961 until the arrival of Federal’s PA300 Series.  This siren has WAIL-YELP-HI-LO Tones.  This siren is missing the wiring harness with plug – The user must provide the 8-pin plug associated with the PA20 for the Speaker and Power hookup.
